Farmer Bob’s World is engaging in regular cleaning and sanitizing of our facilities per the guidelines of the Federal, State, CDC and Tulare County standards, to provide a clean environment for students, families, guests, vendors, and our staff to enjoy. 

Health and safety reminders have been posted for your safety and the safety of our guests and staff members. 

  • Maintain social distance of 6 feet and abide by social distance markers if available

General Admission tickets allow for you to enjoy Farmer Bob’s farm exhibits, opportunity to to pick an orange, gift shop, seasonal farmer’s market, demonstration orchard, live animal viewing and photo op at your leisure. Morning timeframe 9am to 12 noon and afternoon 1pm to 4pm. DOES NOT INCLUDE TRACTOR TOUR!

  • Picnic table area available to stop and have your lunch or snack at.  No alcohol please.
  • Feel free to bring your camera to take pictures of this memory making experience!  We encourage you to wear closed-toed shoes and comfortable clothing.
  • Upon arrival, please park in the parking lot at 32988 Road 164  

Includes Tractor pulled Wagon Tour. The 40-minute tour is an educational automated audio presentation though our beautiful orange groves, and a 10-minute kid friendly video presentation of the citrus industry. Also includes orange picking opportunity, gift shop, live animal viewing, farm exhibits, seasonal farmer’s market, and demonstration orchard.  Afternoon Tours are currently at 2pm ONLY.

  • Upon arrival, please park in the parking lot at 32988 Road 164 where you will see the tractor and wagons parked. 

For an exclusive in-depth opportunity to explore life on the farm, the latest in farming techniques, and technologies, Farmer Bob’s World provides a one-hour walking tour in our orange groves by a local citrus grower.  This tour will provide the attendees an opportunity with an expert in the field and to discuss orange grove maintenance and the complexities of Integrated Pest Management.  This unique tour has an opportunity to pick an orange at conclusion. This special occasion provides about a one-mile walk lasting about one hour in the fresh air of the orange grove, so please wear comfortable shoes and clothing. Must book at least 24 hours in advance to book your personal orange grower tour.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please book online tickets to schedule your tour. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate walk-up tours.

We’ve done groups as large as 110 students, but groups of this size require up to 2 hours to complete. In order to finish your tour in 1.5 hours, we cannot accommodate more than 60 students (including chaperones), OR 50 adults at one time.

Absolutely! If you wish to share your photos on social media, please use #McKellarFamilyFarms and #FarmerBobsWorld! We also have a fun photo op for kids of all ages.

Closed-toe shoes; however, it’s not required. During the summer, we suggest lighter clothing for the hot temperatures, as well as a hat and sunscreen. During winter, we suggest warmer clothing and gloves for the cooler temperatures.

Very little for the tractor tour. We meet you in the parking lot and will load you onto the wagon ride to begin the tour. Once the wagon ride is done, we will walk a short distance to our shop and exhibition space. The path to the barn is paved. Guests will also need to climb 3 large steps to board the wagon. For the Walking tour that is a one mile tour.

YES! We have a variety of souvenirs and items to remember your experience at Farmer Bob’s.

Rain is not a frequent flyer around here, however in the event of rain, we will keep a close eye on the weather and let you know as far in advance as we can if we need to reschedule! 

In the summer months it’s common for the area to reach upwards of 100 degrees. It’s best to do tours earlier in the morning, however we’re willing to do them in the afternoon as well. Again, it’s based on your preference. In times of extreme heat/poor air quality, we will reschedule your tour.

Yes! We have beverages and snacks for purchase. We also have a picnic area for you to bring your own lunch. No alcohol please.
